FAQs

Why should I choose Norwest instead of hiring my own contractor?

Choosing Norwest means partnering with a locally trusted, full-service remodeling company that prioritizes craftsmanship, communication, and care.

Here’s what sets us apart:

  • Fully licensed, bonded, and insured for your protection.

  • Professionally vetted installers and tradesmen who uphold our high standards.

  • Personalized support from start to finish — from design collaboration to final walkthrough.

  • Transparent estimates and flexible scheduling to fit your project goals and timeline.

  • A one-year labor warranty for peace of mind long after your project is complete.

What are the steps in the remodel process?

Your remodel follows a simple, organized timeline:

  1. Initial Consultation – Meet with your designer to discuss goals, budget, and scope.

  2. Measure Appointment – A Norwest technician visits your home within 48 business hours of scheduling to take detailed measurements and photos.

  3. Design Appointment – Your designer uses these measurements to create and refine your layout and materials.

  4. Site Verification – A Norwest Estimator confirms fit and feasibility, ensuring everything will work in your space.

  5. Labor Bid – You’ll receive your custom labor estimate within 7–10 business days after site verification.

  6. Final Design & Purchase – Once approved, your designer finalizes your order and purchases both materials and labor.

  7. Cabinet Delivery & Inspection – When your products arrive (typically 4–16 weeks), a Norwest Inspector verifies all items are correct and undamaged.

  8. Installation Scheduling – Once inspected, your Project Coordinator sets installation dates and communicates updates throughout.

How long will my remodel take?

Timelines vary by project size and product availability. Cabinet delivery alone can take 4–16 weeks, depending on the manufacturer. Once materials arrive and pass inspection, Norwest schedules installation at the soonest available date.

What if something is missing or damaged?

If any product is incorrect or damaged, Norwest will report it to your Order Specialist. Replacements are ordered right away. Depending on what’s affected, this may or may not impact your start date.
